Marek Barański

„W pracy dydaktycznej, badawczej i zawodowej interesują mnie przede wszystkim procesy: sposób, w jaki przestrzeń powstaje, zmienia się i zaczyna ponownie funkcjonować.

W pracy badawczej i dokumentacyjnej łączy klasyczne metody rysunkowe i pomiarowe z cyfrową dokumentacją przestrzenną, obejmującą m.in. CAD, GIS, fotogrametrię, skanowanie laserowe oraz analizę chmur punktów.

Jest autorem i współautorem publikacji naukowych w wiodących międzynarodowych czasopismach i wydawnictwach akademickich, m.in. Antiquity, Nature, Journal of Anthropological Archaeology, Archaeological and Anthropological Sciences oraz Cambridge University Press, a także publikacji pokonferencyjnych o zasięgu międzynarodowym.

“In my teaching, research, and professional practice, I am primarily interested in processes: the ways in which space is formed, transformed, and reactivated within social and cultural contexts. I integrate theory with practice, design with research, and historical inquiry with reflections on contemporary needs. I approach the memory of place not as a constraint, but as a point of departure for the responsible shaping of spatial and cultural landscapes.”

Dr. Marek Z. Barański is an architect and archaeologist specializing in the study, documentation, and creative reinterpretation of cultural heritage.
