Nazywam się Michalina Mosurek, w tym roku obroniłam dyplom magisterski w Pracowni Książki ASP w Krakowie na Wydziale Grafiki. Zajmuję się projektowaniem wydawniczym i ilustracją. Moje projekty książek oraz ilustracje były prezentowane na licznych wystawach i konkursach o randze krajowej i międzynarodowej.

My name is Michalina Mosurek. This year I graduate Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, where I studied Graphic Design. I done my diploma thesis at The Book Design Studio. I am involved in publishing design and illustration. My book designs and illustrations were presented at numerous exhibitions and competitions of national and international rank.

Książka obrazkowa zatytułowana PiT – we wnętrzu sensu i bezsensu pojąć improwizowane przygody Pytona i Trąbki, opowiada o absurdalnym świecie, przez który przepędzani są dwaj bohaterowie. Bardzo niewiele od nich zależy, Pyton jest wężem, który uciekł z prywatnej hodowli latem 2018 roku, szukało go pół Polski. Trąbka jest jazzmanem ma jakiegoś pecha i obydwaj muszą brnąć do przodu. Inspiracją ich przygód są lokalne historie ze wsi podkrakowskiej, które łączą się z wydarzeniami ze świata. Czytając książkę, słyszymy muzykę graną przez trębacza, dlatego forma książki nawiązuje do płyty CD, a wytłoczona na końcu płyta jest nośnikiem melodii skomponowanych w głowie czytelnika. Książka jest pełna ironii, humoru i składa się na dodatkowe elementy dopełniające jej treść: plakaty, udźwiękowioną animację i papierowego konia, który wyskoczył z opowieści. Okładka jest twarda jak trąbka, obwoluta giętka jak wąż, a do książki należy podchodzić z dystansem.

Picture book entitled P&T talks about the absurd world through which two heroes are drives away: Python and Trumpet. Very little depends on them, Python is a snake that escaped from private breeding in the summer of 2018, the half Polish people looked for him, and he accidentally found himself in different situations in my book. Trumpet is a jazzman, he has some bad luck and both have to go forward. The inspiration for their adventures are local stories from the village near Krakow, which connect with events from around the world. Reading the book, we hear the music played by the trumpeter, therefore the form of the book refers to the CD, and the compact disc embossed at the end carries the melodies composed in the reader’s head. A circle with a designated center – an unreal goblet of trumpet, means a closed world of sense and nonsense, where we must understand the improvised adventures of heroes. The book is full of irony and humor, and consists of additional elements that complement its content: posters, sound animation and a paper horse that jumped out of the book. The cover is as hard as a trumpet, a flexible wrapper of book is like a snake, and the book should be approached with a distance.
