Urodzony w Gdańsku (1971) gdzie obecnie mieszka i pracuje jako asystent w pracowni Sztuka w Przestrzeni Publicznej na wydziale Malarstwa. Od prawie 25 lat pracuje twórczo w różnych przestrzeniach artystycznych: od scenografii w teatrze poprzez VJ’ing, performance i wielkoformatowe projekcje zewnętrzne aż po interaktywne instalacje świetlne. Podczas studiów doktoranckich zaczął badać wzajemne relacje i przenikanie się płaszczyzn pomiędzy światłem, widzem a przestrzenią. Tym, na co kładzie nacisk w swoich artystycznych poszukiwaniach, jest pozostawanie w dialogu z odbiorcą sztuki.
Swoją wiedzę i doświadczenia przekuwa w warsztaty dydaktyczne prowadzone w różnych ośrodkach akademickich w Polsce, Europie i Afryce oraz w pracowni 332 wydziału malarstwa gdańskiej ASP. Jako artysta jest w ciągłym ruchu pomiędzy międzynarodowymi festiwalami light art, wystawami indywidualnymi oraz swoimi projektami kuratorskimi. W 2018 był pomysłodawcą i głównym koordynatorem Międzynarodowej Konferencji z Warsztatami dla Studentów w Przestrzeni Publicznej „Light as a Creative Tool” w Gdańsku.

Born in Gdansk, PL (1971) where he currently lives as a an assistant at the Academy of Fine Arts, Faculty of Painting, Art in Public Space studio. For almost 25 years he has been an active artist, working in various fields, from theatre set designer, through VJ’ing, performance and outdoor projections, to interactive light installations. During his doctoral studies, he started his theoretical research on the interplay between public art, light and the viewer. The factor that allows the artist to be in dialogue with his audience is what interests him the most.
The knowledge and experience he gained during his artistic career are the basis of the workshop he leads in many academic centres in Poland, Europe, Africa and 332 studio of the painting department in Gdansk Academy of Fine Arts. As an artist – is constantly moving between international light art festivals, individual exhibitions and his curatorial projects. In 2018 he was a coordinator of the International Conference and Workshop for Students in Public Space „Light as a Creative Tool” in Gdansk.
