„Ilustratorzy rysują i malują obok tekstu, gdy chcą go spopularyzować, skomentować, wyjaśnić, narzucić nastrój, czy po prostu ozdobić. Ilustracja jest wielofunkcyjną formą sztuk plastycznych asymilującą malarstwo, rysunek, grafikę, typografię, fotografię, ornamentykę, instalacje przestrzenne i animację. Dopełnia, objaśnia, nobilituje albo zwyczajnie upiększa publikacje literackie, prasowe i dokumentalne.

"Illustrators draw and paint next to a text when they want to popularise, comment, explain, impose a mood or simply decorate it. An illustration is a multifunctional form of visual arts that assimilates painting, drawing, graphics, typography, photography, ornamentation, spatial installations and animation. It complements, explains, ennobles or embellishes literary, press and documentary publications. It provokes, evokes emotions, creates peculiarities of the world. I like this broad definition of illustration. However, I remember: a well-composed text perfectly presents itself on the page and intensifies the reader's imagination."

She was born in 1950 in Złotoryja. A graduate of the PWSSP (currently the Academy of Fine Arts) in Gdańsk, graduated with honours in the Graphic Design Studio run by the graphic artist of the Warsaw School of posters, professor Witold Janowski. She creates drawings, paintings, photography and objects. Using a graphic workshop, she focused on illustration. She designs children's illustrations, posters, books without text, illustrates folders. After the experience of cooperation with the Musical and Coast theatres and WAG and KAW publishing houses, as well as the periodicals "Szpilki", "Newsweek Polska", "Playboy Poland", "Reader's Digest Poland", and "Project", she established permanent cooperation with national magazines – "Rzeczpospolita Magazine", "Twój Styl", "Film" and the theatre magazine" Foyer "; over 400 publications in total.
